Starbucks arrives on calle Navarra

  • It is the second Starbucks store to open in the city of Bilbao and its opening has created 14 jobs
  • The design of the new store on calle Navarra is linked to the history of the capital of Biscay.

Starbucks, the leading coffee roaster in the world, opened its second location in the city of Bilbao today, specifically at Calle Navarra, 8. With this opening, the brand is reinforcing its presence in the capital of Biscay where it already had one store at the El Corte Inglés department store on Gran Vía.

Linked to the history of the city of Bilbao

The all-new Starbucks store in Bilbao is located at one of the most outstanding sites in the city. Right at the beginning of calle Navarra, the location is a mandatory passageway to Gran Vía, the nerve and entertainment center for locals and the thousands of visitors that arrive in the capital of Biscay each day. 

The store has 170 m2 of floor space and features elements of the jewelry store that once occupied the premises on the outside and inside. There is a precious amethyst wall behind the central counter which can be seen from the door and a magnificent chandelier hanging from the ceiling that offer a link to the history of the city of Bilbao.

These elements blend in harmoniously with the store furniture, made of wood in warm tones to create a very cozy atmosphere.

14 baristas to offer a personalized experience 

The second Starbucks in the city of Bilbao has a staff of 14 baristas, who are trained to prepare up to 86,000 combinations of different and customized beverages to order in an artisan way.

Thus, customers at the new store on calle Navarra may choose everything from the type of coffee to the type of milk and syrups and enjoy the taste of the brand’s delicious beverages such as their famous Latte or Cappuccino made with the best 100% Arabica coffee and perfectly whipped milk to create the best cream.
