Grupo Vips moves up in corporate reputation

    Madrid, June 15, 2016. Grupo Vips, one of the leading groups in the food service and retail sector in Spain, is becoming one of the food service companies with the best corporate reputation in Spain.

    Merco, the reference reputation monitor in Spain and Latin America, has presented the results of its 2016 ranking. Of the companies with the best corporate reputation in the Food Service and Tourism sector, Grupo Vips stands out as it has risen to third place from the fifth position it held in 2015. Number one in the ranking is once again Meliá Hotels International, followed by NH Hotel Group.

    Thus, the company is one of the food service companies with the best corporate reputation in the country as it is the only food service sector company to be listed except Mc Donald’s Spain which is ranked sixth.

    Merco is a reference that measures the reputation of companies and their leaders, which is renowned for its independence and impartialness. It is based on a survey of 25,800 people including 4,168 experts and 23,632 citizens and employees of large companies.
