Ginos, VIPS Smart and Starbucks open its doors at Parque Santiago 6

  • Ginos inaugurates its first restaurant with the new brand image in the Canary Islands. For Starbucks and VIPS Smart this is the second brand establishment in Tenerife, in which they already have a presence in the Siam Mall.
  • The three openings have created 40 new jobs.
  • Grupo Vips, through an agreement signed with the local company Amura Food, is immersed in an expansion phase in the Canary Islands and envisages opening up to 50 establishments in the next five years.

Grupo Vips, one of the leading multi-brand and multi-format groups in the hospitality and retail sector in Spain, opened today three of its flagship brands: Ginos, VIPS Smart and Starbucks at the Parque Santiago 6 Shopping Center in Arona. The openings of these iconic brands have led to the creation of 40 new jobs and are framed within the agreement signed with Amura Food last August in which the Canarian company has become an exclusive partner in the Canary Islands for the development of  the Grupo Vips brands on the islands, with the expectation of opening up to 50 establishments of the Grupo Vips brands in the next five years.


Ginos, authentic Italian - Mediterranean food

With this restaurant, with a capacity for almost 100 diners, Ginos opens its new image in the Canaries, characterized by an urban style, which distances itself from the classic trattorias. A very cosmopolitan rustic-industrial design, inspired by the most avant-garde city trends such as London or New York, which plays with the mixture of materials, ambiences and lights, to create a modern and welcoming venue.

The gastronomic offer of Ginos is defined by its recipes of authentic Italian cuisine in which traditional processes predominate in the elaboration of its dishes, prepared at the moment and its intense flavors thanks to its on view oven. Dishes made with raw materials and high-quality ingredients, including references imported directly from Italy, such as dried and fresh pasta from Puglia, Arrotolata bacon or Pecorino cheese, Parmigiano cheese from Emilia Romagna or Mozzarella 100 % buffalo milk from southern Italy, used in some of its recipes for pizzas and pasta.


VIPS Smart, the best of VIPS where you are the master of your leisure time

With the Parque Santiago, VIPS Smart will open its second restaurant in Tenerife, where it already has a presence in the Siam Mall.

VIPS Smart offers a selection of the most iconic dishes of the well-known VIPS brand in "Smart" version, that is, orders and served at the counter, with the same quality and presentation that characterizes VIPS restaurants.

Tenerife locals can now enjoy the new VIPS Smart from C.C. Parque Santiago 6, from a wide variety of trendy and classic dishes of the international cuisine brand, with options ranging from a veggie burger, a Sicilian salad, to classic dishes such as its famous milkshakes and pancakes, its VIPS Club sandwich, its Caesar salad or hamburgers made with 100% Galician beef. VIPS Smart also provides a children's menu with numerous options for youngsters, as well as a recognized offer for celiacs.

VIPS Smart allows you to enjoy a wide variety of tasty and quality dishes in a short time if you are in a hurry, or calmly, alone or with friends, in a modern and cozy environment, with connectivity tables for recharging mobile devices as well as free high speed Wi-Fi .


Starbucks, passion for coffee

Parque Santiago 6 is the second Starbucks store in Tenerife, which was launched on the island for the first time last month, at the Siam Mall, with a great reception. Starbucks coffee shops have become reference points for lovers of coffee around the world.

Its comfortable and cozy atmosphere, with sofas and armchairs, where you can enjoy your delicious drinks and high-quality 100% Arabica coffees, together with the broad smiles and consideration from its "baristas" that are experienced in preparing more than 86,000 varieties of different drinks, is the key to the "Starbucks experience".

Starbucks continues growing in this way in the Canary Islands, where also this year it will open new stores in Puerto de la Cruz and Gran Canaria.
