Ginos, the Grupo Vips brand which specializes in Italian food, opened its doors today in Marbella in collaboration with a local franchisee. Located at calle Calle Ramón Areces 23, opposite the entrance to the Marina Banús shopping mall and very close to the busy Avenida Julio Iglesias, it is the well-known brand’s first restaurant in the city.
The all-new Ginos Puerto Banús features all the attributes that have made the brand famous such as its authentic Italian recipes, made to order with quality ingredients served in modern and cozy premises, which in the case of Puerto Banús, occupy 236 m2 with the capacity for more than 140 diners between its dining room and terrace.
This opening by a franchisee has created 14 jobs and reinforces the Ginos commitment to Andalusia, a key region for the brand’s expansion where it already has four restaurants in Malaga, three in Seville, one in Cordoba and one in Fuengirola.
The Ginos offering: Top quality recipes and a cosmopolitan atmosphere
Ginos has opened in Marbella with the brand’s all-new renovated image, which is known for an urban style that has very little to do with traditional trattoria decor. It’s a very cosmopolitan country-industrial design, inspired by the trends being seen in the most cutting-edge cities such as London and New York, which plays with a mix of materials, atmospheres and lights to create a modern and cozy setting.
The Ginos culinary offering is known for its authentic Italian recipes where artisan processes predominate the preparation of their dishes, made to order with intense flavor in an open-view oven. Their dishes are made with top quality raw materials and ingredients, including references directly imported from Italy such as the dry and fresh pasta from Puglia, arrototala (rolled) pancetta bacon and the Pecorino, Parmiggiano, Emilia Romagna and 100% buffalo mozzarella cheeses from southern Italy used in some of its pizza and pasta recipes.
Plus, Ginos has a re-worked and award-winning gluten-free menu which includes versions of some of their most iconic dishes like their famous Cioccolatissimo, an offer that was recently recognized by the Spanish Federation of Coeliac Disease Associations (FACE) in the latest edition of their annual awards.
