Starbucks opens its second location in Algarve

    Faro, 13th December, 2017.

Starbucks has just opened its second store in the Algarve region as part of its national expansion plan, this time in the town of Faro, bringing the total to 14 stores in Portugal.

The new location at Forum Algarve, which led to the hiring of 16 new partners, is near the shopping mall entrance with an 50 m2 outdoor area. With a very cozy area, this store features a simple and minimalist design combining wood and concrete.

Maintaining and reflecting the unique Starbucks style, this new store is decorated with natural wood to recreate a comfortable and very enjoyable atmosphere.

One of the characteristics that make this store special is the storytelling linked to the hand-painted artwork on the main wall which represents coffee leaves and beans in addition to the tiled wall behind the bar in chestnut tones.

The employees’ specialized attention and relaxing music, the most significant Starbucks identity marks, are very much present as are the free Wi-Fi service and freshly-ground coffee smell completing the store atmosphere and fostering a cozy, comfortable and special place.

Customers may order 100% high-quality Arabica coffee, available as an espresso or in any of the brand’s many beverages offering more than 86,000 different and customized combinations.

Until January 3, 2018, Starbucks fans may try its fantastic Christmas beverages served in special holiday cups: Gingerbread Latte, with a delicious ginger flavor; Toffee Nut Latte, with caramel flavor and a hazelnut topping; or Fudge Hot Chocolate, a creamy milk hot chocolate topped off with whipped cream and golden white chocolate shavings. The Forum Algarve location also features our special Christmas decoration, baristas dressed in red aprons and the long-awaited Starbucks Christmas Blend coffee.

In addition to this new opening at Forum Algarve, the brand will be inaugurating the Flagship Store in Oporto, in the historical heart of the city, and a store at the Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet in Alcochete.
