Contrast and harmony downtown Zaragoza
The all-new Coso Starbucks, right near the Basilica of the Pillar, is located in the heart of Zaragoza’s historic downtown area. Situated in one of the oldest streets in the city, next to Hotel Alfonso, it features two entrances - one in the hotel reception area with access for people of reduced mobility and another street-side. Both entrances have been carefully designed so customers feel comfortable and can discover the space inside.
The store has 105 m2 of floor space and 39 seats. In order to create two different atmospheres between the bar and table area, the choice of decoration plays with contrasts and harmony. Thus, the bar area is completely paneled in dark wood for a strong visual impact and to give the baristas a starring role. Moreover, the height of the ceilings surrounding the bar were raised to reinforce the feeling of contrast.
The table area features walls covered with design wallpaper and wood furniture to bring warmth to the space in addition to soft upholstered chairs. A community table built around a column dominates the space and shares the focal point with a giant work of art representing the knowledge, artisanry and coffee experience you can breathe at Starbucks.
17 baristas to offer the best personal coffee experiences
The new Starbucks store is operated by 17 of its now-famous baristas (coffee experts), who are trained to prepare up to 86,000 different and personalized combinations of beverages to order and in an artisan way. Customers may choose everything from the type of coffee to the type of milk and syrups and enjoy the taste of Starbucks’ delicious beverages such as their famous Latte or Cappuccino made with the best 100% Arabica coffee and perfectly whipped milk to create the best cream.
