To support this action, all of the locations of all the brands in this multi-brand restaurant and retail Group will turn off the lights on their storefronts between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on that day. In all, its more than 335 restaurants and stores, which are present in 20 Spanish provinces and the city of Lisbon in Portugal, including VIPS cafeterias and stores, the VIPSmart, Ginos, The Wok, and TGI Friday's restaurants, as well as Starbucks Coffee Spain and Portugal will be participating in this campaign.

Moreover, the Grupo Vips brands will support the global challenge by informing its customers through placemats specially designed for this event and on social networking sites with messages relating to the need to protect the planet.  Plus, several actions will be carried out aimed at informing the Group's employees on the days leading up to March 28th with the dissemination of an internal campaign  specifically designed for the occasion comprised of internal posters, special coverage on the Group's intranet and internal communications for maximum visibility.

This way, the company aims to spread awareness among its 8,000 employees, more than 120,000 customers who visit its locations each day and the more than 2 million followers of its brands in the social media for the importance of saving energy and motivating their active participation in the fight against climate change.
