Valencia; March 7, 2017 – Ginos, the Grupo Vips brand which specializes in Italian food, opened its tenth restaurant in the Comunidad Valenciana region. It is located on the ground floor of the Pagoda building in Valencia. This opening involved the creation of 20 jobs at a 357 m2 location with the capacity to host 156 diners (127 in the dining room and 29 on the terrace).
With the new Ginos in Valencia, which has opened under a franchise agreement, the brand now has a total of 97 restaurants in Spain (75 internally owned and 22 franchises).
This is the first opening in the province of Valencia following the Ginos brand image renovation by Grupo Vips. The new premises break with the traditional style of a classic trattoria and now show a much more modern and cosmopolitan image with a country-industrial design inspired by the trends seen in the most cutting-edge cities.
Grupo Vips, which now operates 10 locations under its Ginos brand in the Comunidad Valenciana region, is thus reinforcing its commitment to this region. “La Comunidad Valenciana is key for Ginos. We have designed an ambitious investment plan in the region which includes not only new openings but also the transformation of our restaurants to reflect the new brand image,” said Alberto Chamorro, Managing Director of Ginos, who added, “The Pagoda building is quite the architectural icon for Valencia, with its own well-defined personality and that’s why we’re sure it will bring outstanding value to the renovated Ginos image.”
Top quality recipes and a cosmopolitan atmosphere
Ginos Pagoda features the all-new image and culinary proposal found at other Ginos restaurants, with a carefully-designed modern and urban atmosphere and new recipes made with quality ingredients and products directly imported from Italy.
It is known for its authentic Italian recipes where artisan processes predominate the preparation of their dishes, made to order, with intense flavor thanks to the open-view oven.
Their dishes are made with top quality raw materials and ingredients, including references directly imported from Italy such as the dry and fresh pasta from Puglia, arrototala (rolled) pancetta bacon and the Pecorino, Parmiggiano, Emilia Romagna and 100% buffalo mozzarella cheeses from southern Italy used in some of its pizza and pasta recipes.
Plus, Ginos was recognized this year as the best restaurant chain by FACE (Spanish Federation of Coeliac Disease Associations), for their reworked gluten-free menu which includes versions of some of its most iconic dishes like its famous Cioccolatissimo.
